Hi, my name is Megan, and I am the Practice Manager and Co-Owner at Anderson Family Animal Hospital. I have been proud to be part of this team since 2024, and bringing this dream of practice ownership to life in early 2026 has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career.
Personal Hobbies and Interests
Outside of work, I live in Amelia with my husband Kevin and our two Rottweilers, Axel and Amos. In my free time, I enjoy playing soccer, reading, and travelling with Kevin.
Professional Background
I began my career in veterinary medicine in 2010 as a kennel technician and receptionist, working my way through a variety of roles while pursuing my RVT certification. Over the past 15 years, I have gained experience across many areas of practice, and that hands-on foundation continues to shape how I lead today. You will still find me at the front desk and in appointments — the personal, hands-on side of this work will always be my favourite part of the job.
Work History
After joining Anderson Family Animal Hospital in 2024, I had the opportunity to connect with Dr. Bachman and quickly discovered that our goals and vision for veterinary care were perfectly aligned. What started as a shared dream became a reality in early 2026 when we became co-owners of the practice. While this is my first time stepping into a practice manager and ownership role, the transition has felt natural thanks to the strong foundation I built over the years.
